Elementary Library Grants funded by the Foundation are funded through the Happily Ever After Endowment.  All MCCSC elementary schools are eligible to apply for a grant.

Student Voice, Student Choice in the Library - Funds a collection of books specifically requested by students.

Childs Elementary

Using Fractured Tales: Contemporary Dance Storytelling Program - Updates fairytale book collections with both traditional and modern tales, and gives students an opportunity to enact their own fractured tales for the community.

Clear Creek Elementary

5th Grade State Studies - Updates and expands nonfiction collections about U.S. States, which will especially support the 5th Grade state projects.

Fairview Elementary

Pollinators Make Our Garden Grow! - Materials to enhance students' experiences in the school garden including books on insects, small mammals, birds, lizards, and gardening.

Grandview Elementary

New Book Infusion - Updates the school's collection with literature that speaks to now and the future, as well as the past.

Highland Park Elementary

Nonfiction as a High-Interest Resource - Updates collection with more recently published books that provide not only informative reading material for the students, but entertainment through books where a high interest already exists.

Lakeview Elementary

New Book Infusion - Updates the school's collection with literature that speaks to now and the future, as well as the past.

Marlin Elementary

Reading is Healthy/Native Americans: Then and Now - A grant with two goals: 1. Support curricular standards in grade four so that students can better understand and investigate, with up-to-date information, the Native American tribes that lived in this area in the late 1600's to the early 1800's; and 2. Updates collections with books written at the intermediate level so that students in grades four, five, and six will continue the lifelong quality of reading for pleasure.

Rogers Elementary

Countries of the World - Updates collections of books about various countries and cultures to support equity goal of learning about and celebrating cultural heritage.

Summit Elementary

The Literacy of STEM - Literature that helps students learn how science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics are used in various careers, and that supplements and enhance hands-on STEM lessons.

Templeton Elementary

UN Sustainable Development Goal Books for a World School - Enhances collections of books pertaining to global mindedness and the schoolwide IB Learner Profile Traits, and supports 6th grade capstone projects examining world issues.

Unionville Elementary
