This year our online auction is a critical fundraiser to support educational programs for all MCCSC students.

Ben Tait Memorial Scholarship

Benjamin Tait graduated from Bloomington High School South in 2018. He was an outstanding student, musician, and Science Olympian. Ben was cheerful, optimistic, and kind.

He loved engineering and science and was an award-winning member of the Science Olympiad team; he especially loved the building events. Ben’s musical career began with studies of the recorder when he was six years old and living in Germany. When he moved to Bloomington, he continued to study recorder, then added piano and trumpet. Dave Tanner Memorial Scholarship Fund
For over two decades, David Tanner served as the swim coach for Bloomington High School North, developing a program displaying characteristics in line with his personal beliefs. With Dave at the helm at North, winning really wasn’t everything. To him, it was only ever a minor measure of success. David celebrated each and every athlete’s progress regardless of the competitive outcomes of the races. He strove to build a “program legacy” whereby participation was the most important element. Food Assistance

The Food Assistance plan has been established for donors who would like to help ensure all students receive a lunch.  During the pandemic MCCSC will receive federal funding to provide student lunches.  Gifts to the Food Assistance program will be used after the federal program expires.
