GEMS is for girls in grades 5th and 6th in Monroe County. Girls will have the opportunity work with female role models and enjoy the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)!
The morning will open with a Career Expo from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. At the expo, girls and their families can explore and learn more about STEM career opportunities. Our 9th annual Great Grown Up Spelling Bee is a WRAP!
What a great evening! AWESOME spelling teams and TWO TERRIFIC HOSTS made this year’s event one to remember!
Gary Plaford and Steve Scott took to the Great Grown Up Spelling Bee stage this year to lead our teams through an intense spelling competition. Humor, puns, definitions, and wit were supplied by this duo to help our teams spell their way to victory.
