Collegiate Charities, the Bloomington Blades, and The Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools have teamed up to fight cancer and support youth fitness and wellness programs in our schools and community.
Show your support by getting involved in a variety of ways:
Free Youth Fitness Events – Saturday, March 1- 3:30 to 6:30 pm at Frank Southern Ice Arena
- Learn to Skate with Jenn Campanella (3:30 to 4:00)
- Winter Ice Demonstrations (“Olympic” Figure Skating and Speed Skating 4:15 – 5:30)
- Fitness and Nutrition Exhibits (3:30 to 6:30)
- Local Celebrity Challenges (5:30 to 6:15)
- Chuck A Puck (6:15 to 6:30)
Live Collegiate Hockey Games – Friday, February 28 – 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 1 – 7:30 pm. For more information on Collegiate Charities hockey events. Purchase tickets for Friday night. Tickets are $10 for MCCSC students.
Online Auction – February 22nd – February 28th closes at 9:00 pm
CAMSTRONG wrist bands – $1
Cameron Bland, BHSS student athlete, shares his battle with kidney cancer and serves as an inspiration to others who have face cancer. If you would like to support Cameron’s fight you can purchase a CAMSTRONG wristband for $1 or make a donation using our Donate key. Your donation will be used to fund cancer research and provide youth fitness and wellness initiatives in our schools and community. Wristbands are available at BHS South and BHS North book stores and also Jackson Creek Middle School.
