Dancing for Education

Thank you Douglas and Leah!  Your performances were outstanding and we are so proud to have you represent us.

 

Douglas Rife, President of Solution Tree Press, is Dancing for Education in Bloomington’s Dancing with the Celebrities.

Douglas and his partner Leah Drobot will be Fox Trotting for Kids and Education! Please join us for our fundraising events – every $ donated is one vote for Douglas during the competition and will provide much needed funding for public education.

Fundraising events are in the works.  Our Next Event :

Wednesday, July 16 – Dinner at Truffles starting at 7:00 p.m.  Cost is $50 per person and includes an exquisite dinner prepared by Chef Matt Smith.

Our First Event was:

Tuesday, June 3 – After Work Happy Hour @ Solution Tree from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Address: 555 N. Morton Street, Bloomington IN.  Thanks everyone who came out to support Douglas.

Thank you for supporting Douglas and public education.  Your donation to the Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools provides educational learning experiences for our students.  Examples include:

• $25 will provide one hard cover library book

• $35 would fund one student for a local field trip such as Wonderlab, Camp Emma Lou, or Blue Springs Caverns

• $50 is the cost of educating a student per day within the MCCSC

• $100 would fund a Substitute for one teacher to attend professional development training

• $150 would fund one graphing calculator for upper level math and science courses
