ABOUT FMCCS
The Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools was established in 1973 by a group of local community leaders to ensure our students had access to a high quality education. Since its establishment, the foundation has invested more than $4.3 million in the educational development of MCCSC students. Every dollar invested in educational projects and programs is a dollar given by an individual, an organization, or a business in our community. The Foundation is fully funded by charitable donations and grants by donors like you, who value public education.
Mission Statement:
The Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools engages community support to inspire learning, enrich teaching, and enhance educational opportunities for all MCCSC students.
FMCCS works closely with the school corporation and the community to ensure that:
- our schools and classrooms are equipped to serve children,
- our educators have the tools necessary to meet the diverse needs of students,
- our students benefit from programs and experiences that prepare them for success, and
- our school system has the resources to embrace innovation and excellence.
Vision Statement:
Transform lives by providing educational experiences that enrich student learning.
The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization managed by a board of dedicated community members.
