Can you imagine what life would be like without a high-quality education?   In the spring of 2020 the pandemic upended almost every aspect of K-12 education.  It abruptly closed our doors, stifled the connections our children and educators needed to be successful in learning, and challenged everyone in unimaginable ways.  Today we need your donation to help catch students up to pre-pandemic levels of educational achievement.

Grant Program

Our 2021 – 2022 Fall Grant Cycle is complete!  

Congratulations to all educators receiving grant awards.  The program awarded:

16 educators a total of $23,454 for resources and material that will inspire learning for our students.  
14 elementary schools received $20,777 in funding for books to keep library collections current.

Every year the Foundation’s Grants to Equip, Inspire, & Innovate program funds engaging projects and programs in MCCSC classrooms!

Food Assistance Needs

Food Assistance Needs

Food Assistance continues to be a big need for MCCSC students.

During the 2021 -2022 school year school lunches are supported through the Federal Government stimulus programs but nutritional needs still exist for our kids.

Currently 2000+ students have significant learning gaps resulting from the pandemic.  Student Learning Recovery is a top priority and this programming started with summer school.  Learning recovery programs may extend the school day for these students.  While ESSER funding covers the cost of instruction it does not provide any support for a healthy snack.
