COVID-19 Support

As Indiana begins to open, we are are still supporting our students and teachers.

We are assisting MCCSC with needs that exist during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are providing basic school supplies (pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, and notebooks) and books to help students in need with materials at home.  We are also supporting MCCSC with funds toward meals that are being packaged and delivered through our schools.

If you have the ability to donate at this time, your donation has an immediate and positive impact for us.  Click the donate button to give online or you may mail a check to our office at 315 North Drive.  Checks by mail will be deposited as soon as we can return to our offices.  Mailing address is 315 North Drive, Bloomington IN 47401

I am wondering if there is any sort of assistance on delivering meals to those students whose parents can not drive (my husband and I are both blind)? We have no way of getting to the schools to pick up food other than taking the bus, which obviously puts everyone at risk…

    Candice

This is from Hattie Johnson director of food services. I hope this helps you.
    Good morning,
We are not doing door to door delivery. We have buses in 27 locations around town for food distribution from 11-1 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hopefully they live in walking distance to one of those area. The buses have signs on themed in Depending where they live there may be a bus food pick up location (the list on our website).

Is there a program to support the purchase of masks for teachers and students?

We are working on a fundraising campaign – Support a Student. This will include facial coverings and other sanitary supplies for the classrooms.
